Funeral Services will be celebrated Friday, November 30, 2012, 11:00 a. m. in the Winnfield Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the St Martha Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the funeral home for public viewing Friday from 8:00 a. m. until service time.

Wilson Miles, 99 years old, passed away peacefully November 26, 2012 at Grace Home in Shreveport, LA.
He was born to the late Henry Miles, Sr. and Carolina Miles November 13, 1913.
He was a long-time member of St. Martha Baptist Church.
He was a life-time member in good standing with the Dawn of Light Lodge #22 of Natchitoches.
He never complained and always showed kindness and respect to everyone.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Osceola McDaniel Miles.
He is survived by his three (3) daughters; Violetta May (Roosevelt May) of Compton, CA, Notra Odoms of Bossier City, LA and Mary Harper (Jacob Harper); two sons, Wilson Miles, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA and Howard Miles (Marilyn Miles) of Gardena, CA. He is also survived by eleven (11) grandchildren, sixteen (16) great grandchildren, two (2) great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
