Life celebration services will go forth at the Winnfield Memorial Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, April 7, 2018, 11:00 a. m. with burial following in the St. Savior Baptist Church (Cane River) Cemetery.  The remains will lie in state for public visitation at the funeral home from 9:00 a. m. to service time.

Wilson "PeeWee" Anderson


Wilson "PeeWee" Anderson was born to the late Leon Anderson Sr. and wife Wilma, on February 10, 1946, in Natchitoches, La. Wilson was the second to oldest child of 12. He departed this earthly life on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center.

Wilson accepted Christ at an early age at St. Matthew. He attended high school at St. Matthew in the town of Melrose, La. Wilson started working at the age of 15 in farming.

He leaves to cherish many loving memories; his wife Ethel Anderson of 38 years to this union two sons were born; Wilson Anderson, Jr. and Jerland (Shaquinta) Anderson of Natchitoches, La. The union was blessed with Darrell (Charlotte) Anderson of Dallas, TX; Adimoral Johnson of Washington, DC; Tyer (Krystle) Johnson Sr. of Natchitoches, La; Cleveland (Katrina) Johnson of Natchitoches, La; Marino (Lesley) Johnson of Natchitoches, La. His brothers Paul (Patricia) Anderson; Johnny Anderson; Richard Anderson; Jerry Anderson; Leon Anderson Jr.; Hayward (Donetta) Anderson; Ervin (Earlene) Anderson. His sisters Patricia Anderson; Tina Anderson and a sister-in-law Kynthia Anderson.

His parents Leon Anderson Sr. and wife Wilma, his brothers Henry Anderson, a sister proceeds him in death. He also leaves a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
