William Lewis Hamilton Jr

December 29, 1965 – September 18, 2025

William Lewis Hamilton Jr, of Shreveport, Louisiana and originally from Natchitoches, Louisiana, passed away on September 18, 2025. He was the son of the late William Hamilton Sr., his father, and the late Sherwood Lyles, his stepfather, along with his mother, the late Ola Dean Bush Hamilton.

He is survived by his children and his grandchildren, all of whom loved him deeply. William was the father of fourteen children in total: Jermeisha Odom, Patricia Williams, Ashley Metoyer-Johnson, William Bernstein, Jessica Clark, William Pruitt, Cordell Brooks, Constance Wills (Lacey), LaShay Wilson, Alfonzo Jackson, Caterica Williams, Lorenzo Williams, and his daughters Falon Metoyer and Destiny Pruitt, who preceded him in death.He also leaves behind his siblings, Sh'Mekia Lyles-Payton and Sherwood Hamilton.

William now rests in peace with his parents, William Hamilton Sr., Sherwood Lyles, Ola Dean Bush Hamilton, his wife Sandra Hamilton, and his daughters Falon and Destiny.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
