A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Virginia Telsee Walter will be held March 9, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Greenville Baptist Church in Clarence, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will take place at the church cemetery.

Sis. Virginia "Gin" Telsee Walter was born to the late Albert Telsee, Sr. and Leola Telsee on October 15, 1943 in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. One (1) brother, Albert Telsee, Sr., preceded her in death.

She confessed Christ and was baptized at an early age at the Greenville Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Ned Douglas. Her membership continued under the leadership of Rev. E.E. Harris, Sr.; a short while under Rev. Henry Edwards and current pastor, Rev. Carey C. Smith. She served faithfully as a member of the Usher Board, Choir, Sisterhood, assisted with VBS, and wherever she was needed until her health failed.

She was married to the late Huey P. Walter, Sr. To this union, three (3) children were born.

Gin's memories will forever live in the hearts of her three (3) loving and devoted children, Huey P. Walter, Jr. of Little Elm, TX; Ron D. Walter, Sr. (Tyesha) and Christy Sharelle Walter of Natchitoches, LA; six (6) grandchildren, Loysie Washington, Melexia Walter, Ron D. Walter, Jr., Cameron Walter, Ceairia Calvin, and Savannah Walter; five (5) sisters, Ola Mae Butler, Vivian Brown, Rose Blake, Magalene Johnson, Mary Harris (Joseph) of Houston, TX; three (3) sisters-in-law, Luretha Telsee of Houston, TX, Louella Walter of Natchitoches, LA and Ruth Browder of Campti, LA; God child, Sharon Williams, of Campti, LA; very special friends, Irma Anthony, Ethel Jean Chalk, and Zettie Mitchell of Clarence, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
