A funeral service commemorating the life of Brother Sykes will go forth at the Winnfield Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 318 North Street, Natchitoches, LA 71457 Saturday, November 15, 2025, 11:00 a. m. will burial following in the New Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in St. Maurice, LA. The casketed remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:30 until the service time.
