Princess
Lacour
March 9, 2026
In the Kingdom of Natchitoches, a Princess was born to noble parents, whom did not take the task lightly. She was the most beautiful baby in the whole entire land. Her magical smile made every and anyone feel at ease. She had a way of making even the quietest person feel seen and heard.
Princess accepted Christ at a very early age, deeply influenced by her grandmother affectionally known as Moma.. under the leadership of Rev. James Roberson then by the guidance of Ocie Lee Charles Jr. She later became a member of Greater New Testament, (Kingdom First Ministry) where the late Bishop Willie Warren was Pastor. She continued to stand strong in her faith, starting each day with heartfelt praise and worship, affirming that God is and forever will be the cornerstone of her life.
Because of how she lived, you would not know her struggles. Her smile masked it all. All the doctor visits, hospital stays, rehab, pain management appts, never hindered her compassionate spirit. She remained courageous even after having repeat the process of rehab or ICU visits.
She was prideful and did not want the pity of others. She would not accept public assistance because she didn't consider herself handicapped. She became a counselor, a sponsor and a mentor of other women and men with dependencies. Her life was a powerful example of resilience, bravery and perseverance.
Princess's light was brighter than most, Her smile, her voice, the way she cared for others, the lessons she taught, every laugh she shared, the joy she brought, the strength she showed, and the love she gave so freely. Her journey was not easy, but her strength inspired us all.
May we carry her memory forward with love and honor the legacy of courage she leaves behind. Rest peacefully our Dear Princess! You will always be loved, always remembered and never forgotten.
Preceding her in death were her angels, Princeton Conner Hartwell, Infinity, River Jaye, Big Deuce and Baby Rowe. Her Aunt, Laura Moody, Uncle Earl Moody, Jr., her Great-Grandparents, Oscar Moody, Sr. and Everatter Moody; her Grandfather, Jasper Baccus, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Buccus.
