Jr.
December 27, 1954 – March 15, 2024
The celebration of life service will go forth Saturday, March 23, 2024, 11:00 a. m. at the Winnfield Memorial Funeral Home Cemetery, 318 North Street, Natchitoches, LA 71457. The casketed remains will lie in state from 10:00 a. m. to service time. Burial arrangements with military honors are scheduled for Monday, March 25, 2024 in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Leesville, LA.

The Legacy of Murphy Randolph, Jr.
Mr. Murphy Randolph Jr. was born December 27, 1954, to
the late Reverend Murphy Randolph, Sr. and Dollie Mae
Humphrey-Randolph of Natchez, La. Murphy attended
Natchez Elementary and St. Matthew High School. After
graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States
Army. Murphy Randolph, Jr. then joined in Holy Matrimony
Mrs. Clytia (Claudia) Stephens-Randolph on December 12,
1979. Afterward, he had several occupations until his
retirement, with the most notable being with the City of
Natchitoches and Weyerhaeuser.
Murphy lived his life to the fullest, where he enjoyed
gardening, cooking, playing dominos and shooting pool. He
also loved to mentor the young men in his community and
was often looked at as a father figure to many.
Murphy was preceded in death by both his parents and two
siblings: Honor Randolph-Johnson and Johnny Randolph.
Those left to celebrate his life are his devoted wife, Clytia
Randolph and children, Michael Randolph (Nina) of
Natchitoches, LA, Angela Llopis (Brandon Sr.) of Fort Worth,
TX and Roderick Stephens of Natchitoches, LA; five
grandchildren – McKenzie Bryant, Brandon Llopis Jr, Noah
Llopis, Michael Randolph Jr, and Mariah Randolph. He also
leaves to cherish his memory two brothers, Nora Randolph
(Debra) of Atlanta, GA and Kendrick Randolph (Kaliska) of
Arlington, TX; four sisters: Dorothy Cody (Edward) and
Johnnie Williams of Atlanta, GA; and Doris Payton (Clause)
and Emma Johnson (Woodie Jr.) of Houston, TX. One Uncle
Leroy Humphrey of Natchitoches, LA and a host of nieces,
nephews, and other relatives and friends.
