Ms. Asia Cimone
Pikes
Nov 18, 2001 — Sep 8, 2026
Natchitoches
Asia Pikes, 24, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, on November 18, 2001, and was adopted by Ronald and Shelia Pikes before her first birthday. Asia accepted Christ and was baptized at Abundant Life Baptist Church in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
Asia is survived by her parents, Ronald and Shelia Pikes; her sisters Tawana Andrews (James) and T’unna Pikes; and her brothers Darius Williams and Jaylon “Jay” Jones. She is also survived by her biological parents, Leroy Holmes and Kendra Jones; her biological grandmother, Carolyn Holmes; her biological aunt, Danielle Holmes; her biological uncle, Darryl Holmes; her five biological sisters, Dominique Jones, Indonesia Buchanan, Daysha Antee, Janiya Holmes, and Daniell Holmes; and three biological brothers, Kenneth Harris, Leroy Holmes Jr., and Yorel Holmes. She also leaves behind her godparents, Brenda Pack and Terry Pack; her godsisters, Theresa Carter-Daniel (Kenneth Daniel) and Jasmyne Richards; and her godbrothers, William Lopez and Jace Brumfield.
Asia attended Natchitoches Central High School (NCHS) in Natchitoches, Louisiana, where she participated in the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC). She graduated with honors in 2020.
Asia always had a deep desire to serve. After graduating from high school, she pursued that calling and completed the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office Regional Training Academy on May 2, 2023. That same year, she began her career in law enforcement as a police officer with the Natchitoches Police Department. She later transferred to the Red River Police Department and ultimately served with the Red River Parish Sheriff’s Department.
Anyone who knew Asia knew how caring she was, how deeply she loved, and how hard she worked. She enjoyed building with LEGO bricks, spending time with family, spoiling and loving on her nieces and nephews, gaming, and taking part in recreational water activities. Adventurous, spirited, and daring, she was always willing to accept a challenge. She was even training to skydive solo! Whenever Asia put on her uniform and left for work, she carried the same excitement she felt on her first day. She was passionate about serving her community and always did so with a smile on her face.
Known throughout her life for helping others, Asia continued to give after her passing through the donation of her heart, both lungs, both kidneys, liver, pancreas, intestine, and soft tissue. Her soft tissue donation is expected to save 75 lives.
Asia leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and precious memories with her immediate family and a host of cousins, nieces (including her fur-baby niece, Molly), nephews, and friends.
