Yvonne Marie Wade was born to the late Bessie Lee County Wade and the late Alvy Louis Wade on June 30, 1934. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined St. Mary Baptist Church-Little River which later became United Missionary Baptist church.

Throughout the life of Sis. Wade, She dedicated 31 years in the field of education, faithfully serving as a teacher and positively impacting countless students.

She was proud and devoted member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for many years, exemplifying the Organization's values of sisterhood, scholarship, service and social action.

Her commitment to serving others extended to her church, where she faithfully Served as a vacation bible School teacher and Secretary of the United Missionary Baptist Church.

Sister Yvonne M. Wade was also gifted in the art of crocheting and found great joy in creating beautiful afgans, cozies. scarfs, hats and more for family, friends, and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by one sister Myrte Wade Pennie, (4) brothers - Mahlon, Alfra, Eddie, and Bernard Wade.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved sons, Bryan K. Madison and his wife, Candi, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Rodney Wade and his wife, Vera, of Natchitoches, Louisiana; her sister, Annette Wade James of La Marque, Texas; three granddaughters, Zuterica Price of Alexandria, La. Taylore Broussard of Fort Worth, Tx., and Akeelah Wade of Waco, Tx.: one grandson, Billy Smith and his wife, Clarissa of Natchitoches, La. one great-grandson, Tristan Ferguson of Fort Worth, Tx. and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
