Her spirit was shaped by the love of her parents, Ottis Pimplton and Mary C. Allen, both of whose memories she carried close every day following their passing. She was the fifth among a loving group of siblings, joined in youth by four brothers and three sisters whose laughter filled their childhood days, and whose loss brought a quiet ache through her later years.
