Final care services for this native and life-long citizen of Natchitoches will be celebrated at the First Baptist Church on North Street MONDAY, AUGUST 28, 2017, 11:00 A. M.  The remains will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a. m. to service time.  Burial will follow in the Jackson Square Cemetery.   She will be fondly remembered by the community for her contributions to family, to the myriad students she taught and mentored, her deep roots and active involvement with the First Baptist Church on North Street and her civic concerns.  "Marcie" will be missed!
