A Memorial Service will be held for LaShunda Jones on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 6:00-8:00 p.m. at The Church at Bethel's Family, 14442 Fonmeadow (Houston, TX) 77035, Dr. Walter August, Pastor. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 12 p.m. at the Abundant Life Church, 618 Ben Drive, (Natchitoches LA) 71457, Dr. Aill R. Harris, Jr, Pastor. A public visitation at the church will precede the service from 10:00 a. m. to service time. Burial will follow at Lawrence Serenity Sanctum Cemetery.
LaShunda Renee Jones was born August 29, 1975 to Corrine Jones and David Hardison in Natchitoches Louisiana. LaShunda was a caring person who wanted to help others. She would always give words of encouragement to her family, friends and even strangers. LaShunda worked in the home health care field while pursuing her degree in nursing at Lonestar College until her health failed. She passed away on Saturday June 11, 2016 at her home in Katy, Texas surrounded by her family.
LaShunda is survived by her parents; 5 children Ashley Jones, Quentin Butler, Kiaria Moon, Terri Moon, Taurus Moon; her brother Jonathan Williams; her sisters Krystal Jones, Tamara Dumars, Aneesha Turner, Nina wafer and Raven Wafer and grandchild Katelynn Jones and a host of uncles, aunts, family and friends. She will truly be missed by all.
