The life and legacy of Mr. Jim Hampton will be celebrated at the Asbury United Methodist Church, 704 5th Street, Natchitoches, LA 71457 Saturday, April 12, 2025, 11:00 a. m. with Pastor Jerald Danzell officiating.  The casketed remains will lie in state at the church from 9:30 a. m. until the start of the religious service.  Additionally, the VFW Post 1962 will render military recognition at 10:50 a. m.  Burial will immediately follow the service in the Rockford Baptist Church on Old River Road.
