A service honoring the life of First Sgt. James Clyde Gay was held at the Asbury United Methodist Church, 704 5th St., Natchitoches, LA 71457 Saturday, October 23, 2021, 1:00 p. m.  The casketed remains were available for public visitation one hour before the service.  Full Military Honors were rendered as pallbearers at the church and the Honor Guard Ceremony at Lawrence Serenity Sanctum where interment took place immediately fo;;pwomg tje service.  Pastor Jerald Danzell officiated the celebration.
