A celebration of life will take place on Saturday January 13, 2024 at 11am at Gilgal Baptist Church in Clarence, La 71414. A public viewing will begin at 9am until the time of service.

On Wednesday, January 3, 2024, Gladys Mae Coleman was called to her Heavenly home. She was born on December 1, 1954 to Elvie and Burton Tim Coleman.

She received Christ at an early age, under the leadership and baptism of Rev. P.M. Gillie.

She was a graduate of Natchitoches Central High School, class of 1972. She worked in healthcare for many years. She loved her patients, which she would often bring to church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvie and Burton Tim Coleman; brothers, Herman and John Dee Coleman; and sisters, Helen and Frances Coleman.

Those left to cherish her memories: her children, David L. Mangum, Shakina Coleman-Frazier (Edward) and Sharicka Coleman; her grandchildren, Christopher Bush, David Mangum, Jr., Richard Harris, Raishun Harris, and Sawyer Mitchell; her brother Jimmy Coleman; her sisters, Eddie Coleman, Turlyes Coleman, Sandy Turner (Wilbert), and Ethel Lewis; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
