Services commemorating the life and legacy of Mrs. Robertson will unfold at the First United Methodist Church, 411 Second Street, Natchitoches, LA 71457, at 11:00 am with Pastor Jerald Danzell officiating Saturday, July 26, 2025.  The casketed remains will lie in state at the church for public visitation from 9:30 until the start of the religious service.  Interment will follow the service in the Fern Park Cemetery on Texas Street.

Mrs. Robertson was a heroine in the civil rights movement in the early years when her leadership with the Central High School Parent Teachers Association led to the integration of local public schools and improvement for the education of Black students in Natchitoches Parish.  Her absence will cast a lengthy shadow in our local history icons!  May she rest in peace.
