OBITUARY
"Absent from the body, and present with the Lord"

Dewylean Stringer Raymo was born August 17, 1934 to the late Roosevelt and Florence Stringer. She quietly went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Autumn Leaves Nursing Home in Winnfield, LA.

She was an active member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church and was a faithful member. She served as an Usher during her younger years and would cook Gumbo for the Senior Choir during their fund-raising days. Sister Raymo loved God and her church.

She loved to work in the yard and was a great cook. She would cook mouthwatering meals each Sunday for her family. When asked what can we do to help she would say nothing; let me do what I can while I can.   She was always up and fully dressed every Saturday morning ready so when her daughters called she was ready to go to Pecanland Mall, Alexandria Mall, Mall St. Vincent, or Bonnie and Clyde trade days.

Preceding her in death were her parents Roosevelt and Florence Stringer, three brothers; Roosevelt Stringer Jr., Chester Stringer, and Freddie Jones; three sisters Jessie Mae Vincent, Osie B. Black and Altonette Thomas; a son, Bill Raymo Jr., two grandson, Corek Hall and Garlon Stringer.

She is survived by her loving caring children: Mary Hall (Cliff); Sandra Raymo, Edward Raymo, and Corondelette Clay (Curtis) as well as six additional girls whom she loved as her very own: Monica McGee (Chester), Yvonne Raymo, Joshlan-Rowdie Raymo, Daphne Raymo, Stephanie Mays (Keith) and Sylvania Raymo and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
