A spiritual homegoing celebration was held in honor of Deacon Thomas' life at the Friendship Baptist Church of Natchitoches where the Rev. James Below is Pastor on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 4:00 p. m. preceded by an hour of public visitation.  Dr. E. R. Demery, brother-in-law of the deceased, was the officiating minister.  Another brother-in-law, Pastor Shaun Pitts gave the Eulogy.  A family member whose twin recently transitioned, Dr. Kurt Clark, did the Funeral Oration.  Interment followed in Lawrence Serenity Sanctum.
