Daniel Louis Roberson was born on March 25, 1957 in Natchitoches, LA to the late parents of John Gay and Lizzie Roberson of Natchitoches, LA. Daniel was the lastborn of all his siblings.  He attended and graduated from Central High School.  He later attended what was then called Natchitoches Central Trade Center to complete a program in butchering.  His early career was spent working as a butcher.  Later he went on to garner many achievements working as a technician at ConAgra and returned to his butchering roots in his later years.

In his free time, he loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with his loving wife, children, grandchildren, friends, and family members.  He was a loving brother, father, friend, and overall genuine person whose guiding light comforted and taught all those around him.

Daniel was preceded in death by his mother Lizzie Roberson, father John Gay, and siblings Florence Ella Roberson, Jewel Roberson Smoots, Stella Mallard Arnold, Alfred Gay, Ishdore Gay, Johnnie Gay, Sr., Louis Gay, and Ocie Lee Gay, Sr.

Daniel leaves to cherish his many memories: his loving wife Bertha Roberson; daughter Twanda Roberson (Jeremy); sons Christopher Daniel Roberson (Tailyr), Daniel Ray Wolfe (Gail), Robert Louis Roberson; grandchildren Brynie D.
