Life Celebration Service will be held at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Center, 660 MLK Drive, Natchitoches, LA 71457 Saturday, October 17, 2015 at High Noon with burial following in Lawrence Serenity Sanctum. The remains will lie in state at the MLK Center Saturday morning from 10:00 a. m. to service time. The family will receive friends at a wake service on the preceding Friday evening from 5:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. at the Rock Island Baptist Church, 635 Dixie Street, Natchitoches, LA where the Rev. Conway T. Jones is Pastor.
