Homegoing Celebration Services for Mr. Crawford Ficklin Jr., well-known native of Natchitoches, La and surrounding cities will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 411 Second Street, Natchitoches, LA 71457. The casketed remains will lie in state for public visitation at the church from 9:00 a. m. to service time.  Interment with full Law Enforcement Honors will take place at Lawrence Serenity Sanctum, 1630 Breazeale Spring Street, Natchitoches, LA 71457 immediately following the funeral service.

Mr. Ficklin was an active member in the church community and held leadership positions within multiple Louisiana law enforcement agencies: Chief of Police-Northwestern State University, Chief Deputy-Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Office and Warden-Natchitoches Parish Detention Center. He will be remembered for his love of singing especially quartet music, his passion for cooking and his natural southern hospitality whenever you visited his home.
