Graveside service will be celebrated at the St. Savior Baptist Church (Cane River) Saturday, January 29, 2022, 10:00 a. m.  Family will gather at the funeral home at 9:00 a. m. to form a procession to the burial site.

ALL ATTENDEES MUST WEAR PROTECTIVE FACIAL MASKS AND OBSERVE SOCIAL DISTANCING AT OUR SERVICES.

Brother Cornell Robinson (the "Prez")

Our beloved Cornell Robinson, nicknamed "the Prez",  was born in Los Angeles, California July 27, 1962 to the parentage of the late Edward Robinson and Lonnie Mae Hoover Robinson.  God called him from an earthly journey to a higher place January 15, 2022 at his Natchitoches, LA residence.

He received his education under the instruction of teachers in the Natchitoches Parish Public School System.

Being skilled with his hands, he became known as a jack of all trades; however, his main job focus was being a carpenter in the construction industry where he was employed for a number of years.

Preceding him in death was his father, Edward Robinson; two sisters, Sandra Toussaint and Mattie Allen and one brother, James Hoover.

He is survived by a number of family members who will fondly recall his life including, his mother, Lonnie Mae Robinson of Natchitoches, LA, four children, Carl Newton and Michelle Newton both of Houston, TX,  Felicia Green of Jacksonville, FL, Calvin Newton (Keneitha) of Houston, TX; one sister, Tenika Robinson; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three aunts, Pearl Jo Kitchen of Natchitoches, LA, Patricia Hooper of Houston, TX and Arise Jones of Columbia, GA along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
