Funeral services will be celebrated Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 11:00 a. m. in the chapel of the Winnfield Memorial Funeral Home. The body will lie in state at the funeral home for public viewing on Saturday morning from 8:00 a. m. to service time. Burial will take place in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery just off La Hwy 6.

Mr. Charles Brown, Jr. was born December 3, 1948 in Natchitoches, Louisiana to the parentage of the late Rev. Charles Brown, Sr. and Mrs. Dorothy Johnson Brown. He was preceded in death by all of his siblings.
He was educated in the public schools of Natchitoches Parish and continued his education with two years of college at Northwestern State University.
Mr. Brown served his country in the U. S. Army from which he was honorably discharged after a tour of duty in the Vietnam War.
He passed away March 3, 2012 in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
Left to cherish his memory are a son, Gary Brown (Taisha) of Natchitoches, LA; two aunts, Mattie Williams of Shreveport, LA and Narva Lewis of Natchitoches, LA; one uncle, Oliva Brown of Houston, TX; two nieces, Pamela Robinson, Linda Perrow; and one nephew, Derrick Brown all of Natchitoches, LA and two great nieces and two great nephews.
