OBITUARY

OF

MRS. BETTYE SUE PAYTON-HASKETT

Mrs. Bettye Sue Payton-Haskett was born to Mrs. Geneva Pierce Payton and Mr. Messiah Payton.  She departed this earthly life March 31, 2022.

She was the third child of her family's siblings.

She confessed Christ at an early age.

She received her education in Natchitoches, LA.  She married Mr. James Haskett and relocated to Dallas, Texas and then to Houston, TX where she departed this life.

Preceding her in death were her parents and three brothers.

Mrs. Betty Sue leaves to cherish her memories her husband, James Haskett of Houston, TX; one sister, Mrs. Vernell Brooks Solomon of Natchitoches, LA, one niece, Jeanette Solomon of Natchitoches, LA, three nephews, Paul Solomon of Sacramento, California, James Solomon, Jr. of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Waymon Solomon of Natchitoches, LA; great niece, Latrese Solomon of Natchitoches, LA along with a host of other great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held in Houston, TX at Ross Mortuary Chapel April 14. 2022 with a public visitation from 11:00 a. m. to 12:00 p. m. and the service at 12:00 p. m.

The final care took place in Natchitoches, LA consisting of a graveside service at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church April 16, 2022, under the direction of Winnfield Memorial Funeral Home, 318 North Street, Natchitoches, LA 71457.
