Obituary
of
Mrs. Ashley Fay Williams Adams

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.II Timothy 4: 7 & 8.

Mrs. Ashley Fay Williams Adams was born to Mr. Clyde L. Williams and Mrs. Roseanna Williams July 2, 1982 in Pineville, Louisiana. She was the fourth born of five children. "Ashley Fay", as she was so affectionately called, was the applie of her father's eye and commanded the attention of her mother, siblings and all others she encountered! Her charm as an infant, won the heart of her Godmother and Godfather, Mrs. Gussie Smith and Mr. Albert Gillie. Their generosity and support as God-parents never ceased.
Ashley accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Julius Charles. She was a member of the Youth Choir and the Sunday School. She later united with the New Dimension Kingdom Worship under the leadership of Pastors Henry and Doris Butler. She served as Financial Secretary until her transition.
Ashley received her education in the Natchitoches Parish Public School System and graduated from Natchitoches-Central High School in 2001. After graduation she worked in the Food Service Industry and attended the Louisiana Technical College. She received an Associate Degree in Business Administration and was employed by the Natchitoches Mental Health Clinic as Administration Coordinator. After several years, she was promoted to Administrative Coordinator/Clerical Supervisor of the Natchitoches Parish Health Unit.
Ashley never met a stranger. She was a gracious servant, host and friend. She was diligent and meticulous in the care of her children, her work ethics, her home and community. She exemplified the characteristics of a virtuous woman until God called her to rest.
Ashley married her high school sweetheart, Darris Adams, October 16, 2009. God blessed them with three beautiful children, Dillon, Ariana and Addyson Catherine.
On December 31, 2014 God called Ashley Fay's name to rest from her labor. She leaves to cherish her memory her sweetheart, Darris; her children; her parents, Clyde and Roseanna Williams; sisters: Doris Butler (Henry) of Natchitoches, Crichelle Robinson (DeShawn) of Natchitoches; brothers: Claude Williams, Jr. (Twila) of New Orleans, LA, Tery Williams (Latisha) of Shreveport, LA and Thurston (Makeisha) of Alexandria, LA; father-in-law, John Adams, Jr., mother-in-law, Daphne Adams and sister-in-law: Taneka Adams all of Natchitoches, LA; her Godparents: Gussie Smith and Albert Gillie; aunts, uncles, four nieces, ten nephews and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
